Privett (LT) - Triple Cinta

And here we are yet to walk the streets of the towns located in the province of Latina in search of playful symbols engraved along the narrow and ancient streets. In particular, we are in the village of Privett placed on a hill near the ancient Privernum (built in Roman times on the plains halfway between Latina and Frosinone). The proximity of the Roman remains and the various development related to the medieval period, suggests that a large part of CT, especially tre incisioni poste su di un'unica pietra lavorata e posta a sostegno di un edificio databile al periodo medioevale, cronologicamente si potrebbero far risalire ad un periodo che va dal II sec. a.C. al IX sec. Sembrerebbe un lungo periodo, ma è l'unico riferimento certo per questo tipo di incisione. Privernum ha una storia che va dal tardo repubblicano al IX sec. (alcune testimonianze lasciano supporre che la città venne distrutta ad opera dei Saraceni ). La pietra è stata certamente riutilizzata, presa dall'antica cittadina e usata architettonicamente per l'edificio posto accanto ad un ingresso del Comune e alla cattedrale di S. Maria Annunziata. Le tre TC incise rappresentano tre filetti (senza diagonali), uno è incompleto perchè tagliato per adattare la pietra all'uso.

Terracina - Itri - Looking for Abbey Triple wall

continue walking in the countries of Lazio in search of games thread, Cham even triple circle, and Tris, a very simple game del filetto. Questa volta ci siamo recati nelle cittadine di Terracina ed Itri. In questi luoghi eano già state documentate delle TC, ma sempre guardando bene ne sono state osservate delle altre. Queste incisioni non sono databili in quanto non tutto il materiale su cui sono state incise proviene, così sembra, da edifici storici presenti in zona. Ipotesi che si riscontra sovente in altre cittadine, Sezze, Pizzoli, S. Maria in Cartignano, Osteria Nova ecc.

Un particolare che colpisce subito è lo schema rappresentato, il tipico filetto senza incisione circolare centrale. Mentre per le altre situazioni lo schema rappresentato come TC è l'insieme dei due giuochi con incisione centrale. Approfondiremo l'argomento.
